Asus Rog Phone 5 PUBG Test Gameplay FPS and Gaming Air Triggers

Let’s see how PUBG runs on the new Asus Rog Phone 5! We’ll test out all graphics modes including HDR graphics with Extreme Frame Rate, Smooth with Extreme and also Ultra HD with Ultra frame rate.

I’ve got the Air Triggers set up in split mode so the left trigger doubles up as my ADS and jump buttons where the right trigger is my fire and reload buttons.

The phone can easily output 60FPS in all modes but is sadly restricted to 40FPS when you go to the Ultra HD setting. I’d recommend HDR with Extreme Frame Rate personally as you get the best of both worlds – nice graphics and a maximum frame rate.

X-Mode is enabled during this gameplay.

Let me know what you think down below – I’m very impressed with how well the Rog Phone 5 runs to be honest. It’s fast and keeps relatively cool to the touch through gameplay.
