Samsung Galaxy S9 – New images leaked

New Samsung Galaxy S9 renders have been leaked showing the phone in a brand new aspect ratio of 21:9. The S8 has an 18:9 screen so that means the S9 will be slightly taller and the screen, as you can see below, will stretch across what looks like 95% of the surface of the phone:

The source of this image is Universe Ice and this user has been pretty much spot on for all the cryptic messages they tweet out.

A few days back they also tweeted a picture of a red Galaxy S9 which looks quite smart:

It will, apparently still have a 3.5mm headphone jack (yay 😀 ) but will not have a fingerprint scanner working though the glass of the screen (boo :'( )

The most cryptic of all the tweets however has to be this one:

The back of the Galaxy S9 will change a lot

So what will change? Other than the fingerprint reader position which will  HAVE to change (because it’s just stupidly placed). Will there be a big change in the camera(s) maybe? Zoom? Xenon flash? Who knows but I’m looking forward to finding out.

The release date is likely to be mid 2018 but we’ll have to wait a few more months to find out officially from Samsung.
